Only a couple of weeks after the new manually operated laboratory platen press has been introduced, the first sale has been realised already through our distribution and service partner for Belgium, Benelux Scientific.
Rolf Swuste, our Design Engineer, is handing over “his baby” to Maarten Debrouwere (Managing Partner) and Lieven Van Herreweghe (Service Engineer) from Benelux Scientific. Next to the fact that the press had to fulfill some classical technical requirements, such as heating up to 300°C and having a force range up to 300 kN, our customer was impressed by its small footprint of 500 x 500 mm, still having heating platens size 320 x 320 mm, says Maarten. And last but not least, the Fontijne LabManual press was so convincing because it comes with a CE certificate and a safety door.
Since Benelux Scientific takes care of installation and commissioning as well, the customer will be able to start preparing samples immediately after delivery of the press.
