By the end of August, our current Sales Manager Eline Pattyn will return to Europe. Given the growing importance of the North-American market for Fontijne Presses, we still feel the necessity of having a local presence.
We are glad to announce that Pete Shickel started already as our new Sales Manager for North America. Pete has a long lasting experience selling lab equipment, thermal analysis instruments in particular. Based in Philadelphia, he will be amongst other things responsible for the follow-up and expansion of our customer base in the USA and Canada, organise preventive maintenance, calibration and training sessions on installed presses, and create brand awareness by attending trade shows, seminars and congresses. We thank Eline for the pioneering work. Back in Europe she will take up other responsibilities in our mother company, the Aptco Group. We wish both Pete and Eline a good start in their new jobs!
